Career

Anne-Gaëlle advises clients on the set-up, day-to-day maintenance and reorganisation of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment vehicles. She has a particular focus on the regulated investment funds sector and alternative investment vehicles adopting various strategies and investing in all types of alternative asset classes.

Anne-Gaëlle has been advising clients, mainly credit institutions and major international asset managers, on the set-up, day-to-day maintenance and reorganisation of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment vehicles for 11 years.

She has a particular focus on the regulated investment funds sector and alternative investment vehicles adopting various strategies and investing in all types of alternative asset classes.

Over the years, Anne-Gaëlle has also worked on many UCITS with various strategies, from the plain vanilla strategies to the most sophisticated strategies using complex instruments.

She advises international clients in relation to the setting-up and day-to-day maintenance of AIFMs and management companies.

She also gives advice as regards developments of European directives and regulations as well as local laws and regulations governing Luxembourg investment vehicles in general.

Prior to joining Ogier, Anne-Gaëlle was Counsel - Head of the Regulatory and Investment Management department of the Luxembourg office of a French law firm. Anne-Gaëlle has been working in law firms in Luxembourg since December 2005, including secondments to the the fund structuring department of a Luxembourg bank and the Hong-Kong office of a Luxembourg law firm.

Languages

She speaks English, French and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Dutch.

Memberships

Anne-Gaëlle became a member of the Brussels bar in November 2006 and of the Luxembourg bar in January 2011. She is now Avocat à la Cour (Luxembourg bar – List I) since May 2014.

Education

Anne-Gaëlle graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve - Belgium) where she obtained a Master in Law with High Honors.
