Fay is an Advocate and Counsel in Ogier's Dispute Resolution team in Guernsey, specialising in commercial litigation, fraud and asset-tracing, regulatory advice and contentious and non-contentious employment law and related matters such as work-related personal injury claims. She has significant court experience, including acting as junior counsel in one of the largest money laundering trials ever to take place in Guernsey and the island's sole quantum-only personal injury claim. Education

Fay holds a first class degree from the University of Cambridge and is an honorary scholar of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. She has MAs from Cambridge and from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She also holds a General Diploma in Law from the University of Bournemouth, the Bar Professional Training Course certification from BPP University, London and the Certificat d'Etudes Juridiques Françaises et Normandes from the Université de Caen Basse-Normandie.

Personal

Prior to qualifying as an English barrister in 2014 and an Advocate in 2018, Fay worked internationally as a researcher, writer and rapporteur specialising in finance, international development and human rights issues. She maintains a strong interest in green finance and environmental, social and governance issues, as well as social issues closer to home as a former director of Guernsey charities Safer and the Young Business Group.
