Career

Nick has been practising Cayman law since 2001 and specialises in investment funds, cryptocurrency and blockchain work and venture capital transactions. Nick has practised in London and Hong Kong and particular expertise in advising hedge funds and hedge fund managers on structuring, regulation and governance, and in advising private equity sponsors and investors.

Nick began his career in the corporate finance department at Clifford Chance in London. He joined Ogier in the Cayman Islands in 2001, before relocating to Hong Kong in 2003 with another Cayman Islands firm, where he became a partner in 2005. Nick returned to the Cayman Islands in 2006 and re-joined Ogier as a partner in 2010.

Memberships

Nick serves as Vice-President of the Caymanian Bar Association and is also a Director of Cayman Finance.

Education

Nick studied Law at University of Cambridge and graduated in 1996.
