Position

Colin is a counsel at Carey Olsen advising on corporate, real estate finance and investment funds matters.

He has acted on a number of corporate and real estate transactions involving Jersey vehicles for leading banks, private equity houses and FTSE 100 companies, and also has experience of public company work. Colin provides funds, fund service providers and fund promoters with advice on all aspects of the establishment, regulation and operation of investment funds and fund service providers in Jersey.

Career

Before joining Carey Olsen in July 2007, Colin worked for Maclay Murray & Spens and then McGrigors in Scotland. Colin was admitted as a solicitor in Scotland in 2005.

Education

Colin studied law at the University of Edinburgh.
