Max advises on all aspects of Bermuda commercial and corporate law with notable experience in raising capital, investment fund structures, joint ventures, M&A and debt finance.

Max has provided advice to private, listed and overseas entities (including companies, LLCs, partnerships and trusts) on matters including entity formation, restructuring, capital markets, asset and share acquisitions, corporate governance, licensing and regulatory advice as well as assisting with the orderly distribution of capital and winding up of entities.

Max is ranked as a 'notable practitioner' by IFLR1000.

Before joining Carey Olsen, Max practised in the Corporate/M&A/Capital Markets team at Clayton Utz in Sydney and prior to that was an associate at another law firm in Bermuda. He was admitted as a lawyer of New South Wales in 2020 and called to the Bermuda Bar in 2015.

Max obtained his LLB from the University of Southampton and his LPC from BPP Holborn.
