Yi has a wide range of experience assisting in cross-border commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, derivative actions, contentious insolvency and appraisal actions involving offshore companies.

Yi worked at another leading offshore law firm before joining Carey Olsen. Prior to that, she worked at a top-tier PRC law firm based in Beijing.

Yi is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.

Yi holds an MA in law from the University of Bristol, an LLM (Distinction) from the University of Hong Kong, and a bachelor's degree in Business English from the University of International Business and Economics in China.
