David heads Harper Macleod’s Dispute Resolution team in Glasgow, leading on a wide range of commercial and public law disputes with a particular focus on tax, banking and financial services, construction, professional negligence and shareholder/corporate disputes. David’s core practice areas makes him an invaluable member of the civil fraud team, both acting for clients to pursue claims arising out of dishonest behaviour or defending allegations of financial impropriety. He is regularly instructed at short notice to successfully obtain interim court orders to protect his clients’ assets and interests pending the resolution of the dispute.
David regularly represents clients in the Court of Session, First-tier and Upper Tax Tribunals and in Sheriff Courts across Scotland.
David has additional degrees in Accountancy and IT which set him apart in leading many of the firm’s most technically detailed and high value fraud, construction and commercial litigations.
