Position

Associate

Eilidh is part of the Debt & Asset Recovery team, primarily dealing with Insolvency matters. She provides advice and assistance on matters such as sequestrations, liquidations, restoration of companies and debt recovery. Her clients include private individuals, creditors, banks, companies and insolvency practitioners.

In addition, she appears on behalf of housing association clients and private landlords who raise court and tribunal actions for recovery of possession of property and rental arrears.

Eilidh regularly appears in Sheriff Courts and Tribunals throughout Scotland on behalf of Pursuers and Defenders to conduct procedural hearings and proofs in simple procedure claims, ordinary cause actions and summary applications. Upon successfully obtaining Decree, Eilidh advises on a wide range of enforcement methods.  She regularly instructs and assists Counsel in Sheriff Court and Court of Session actions.

Eilidh is a tutor on the Civil Litigation course for the Diploma in Legal Practice at The University of Glasgow and sits on the committee for the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) New Crew network.
