Position

Adam is an experienced and highly capable litigator, with considerable expertise and a very successful track record in the firm’s civil and commercial litigation team. He collaborates with a wide variety of clients to devise sound strategies for the best commercial outcome in the most cost-effective way.

Adam’s practice focuses on commercial and consumer contracts, professional negligence, commercial disputes (particularly, shareholders and directors disputes) and wills & executries. Additionally, he is experienced in acting for some of the firm’s largest public sector clients in property and environmental litigations.

Adam is equally adept at personally appearing on behalf of his clients in the Sheriff Courts in high value and complex litigations, as well as dealing with litigations in the Court of Session (both the inner and outer house) instructing and working alongside members of the Scottish Bar in the commercial court and for judicial review. He is also experienced in successfully obtaining protective orders and diligence at short notice to protect commercial and personal interests.

Adam, having previous experience as a small business operator, is comfortable advising small businesses and start-ups in the context of disputes.
