Position

Laura Ann is a Personal Injury associate with considerable experience in handling claims for individuals. She has expertise in dealing with cross-border personal injury claims including accidents abroad and accidents on-board ships and aircraft. She also handles claims arising out of road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, accidents in public places, professional negligence and criminal injuries.

Laura Ann primarily deals with pursuing claims in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. She has also represented clients in the Sheriff Appeal Court and Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal.

She provides professional support services to the Personal Injury & Reparation team through regular updates on case law and technical aspects of Scottish Court procedure. She contributes commentary to the firm website and social media platforms on the developments of personal injury law.

Laura Ann has developed an understanding of trauma-informed practice through her previous experience working in family law and on behalf of individuals who have suffered serious injuries and abuse.

Laura Ann is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury.
