Career

Chris has over 30 years’ experience helping separating or divorcing clients to resolve issues concerning children and finances, including where there are numerous properties, business interests, pensions and other complex financial arrangements.

He also regularly advises unmarried cohabitants on separation as to their property interests. He is a Law Society and Resolution accredited specialist in complex financial arrangements on divorce and cohabitation disputes.

Chris is also a qualified collaborative lawyer and he advocates a non-confrontational approach where possible, although he will always advise on the most appropriate or effective option in each case.

He was Managing Partner of Barcan+Kirby from 2013 to 2017 and is now back to full-time casework.
