Career
Joe is a Partner in the Employment team. He advises on the full range of employment law issues and much of his experience has an international dimension. Joe also advises clients on immigration and data protection matters.
He has experience advising banks, large corporations, property companies, private equity houses and asset management firms. He often advises clients on HR issues (such as redundancies, disciplinary and grievance processes and investigations), employment litigation and the employment aspects arising on corporate transactions (including global carve-outs). Joe has an interest in advising on whistle-blowing complaints.
Separately, Joe acts for senior executives in their negotiations on the terms of their service agreements and settlement agreements. He is also a member of Forsters’ Senior Executives team which provides holistic advice and support to internationally mobile senior executives on tax, employment and immigration.
Joe co-heads Forsters’ pro bono committee and is also a committee member on the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee.
Joe was promoted to Partner in April 2023.
He has spent time on secondment at two global banks and a national retailer. Joe joined the Forsters’ Employment team in December 2018 from Clifford Chance LLP.
