Career
Lucy specialises in all aspects of residential property acting for a variety of private individuals, developers, investors and lenders in the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property.
She is also a member of the Enfranchisement Team acting for both landlords and tenants in connection with their enfranchisement claims. Her work includes acting for the Phillimore Estate and the Crown Estate dealing with their enfranchisement claims and management issues arising from their property portfolios.
Lucy provides commercial and practical advice to ensure the best outcome is reached for her clients. She is described as a “highly respected senior practitioner” who is “technically strong and has a positive, can-do and commercial approach”.
Lucy is ranked in the Chambers HNW Guide 2023. She is also recognised by The Legal 500 2024 edition as a Leading Individual for her work on high value residential matters. Lucy is noted as a Top Flight Property Lawyer in the Spear’s Property Advisers Index 2023 and listed as ‘Top Flight’ in the Spear’s 500 2023 directory.
Under Lucy’s leadership, the Residential Property team were named ‘Residential Property Team of the Year’ at the Chambers High Net Worth Awards 2022.
Lucy trained at Forsters where she qualified in 2004 and became a Partner in 2012.
