Career

David is highly regarded for the advice he provides to both individuals and families in helping to preserve and transmit their wealth.  He advises both UK and offshore clients on capital taxation in all its aspects and frequently acts as a trustee or executor.  David has extensive experience of advising the owners of landed estates and has a specialised knowledge of the tax exemptions affecting fine houses and works of art.

David has been a private client partner at Forsters since 1998, serving as head of the private client group for fifteen years until 2013.

David joined Frere Cholmeley (later Frere Cholmeley Bischoff) in 1985 and is one of the founding partners of Forsters.
