Position
Lorna heads the UK clinical negligence practice and is Browne Jacobson’s national lead partner for NHS Resolution, taking responsibility for the quality of all the work we do for this client and the support we provide to it and its member trusts. She has been a Nominated Partner since 2010 and has more than 25 years’ experience of advising NHS and private bodies on healthcare litigation, particularly complex and high value claims, inquests and serious incidents.
She is also client partner for a number of Trusts.
Career
Trained Theodore Goddard; qualified 1993; Capsticks, London (12 years, eight as partner, specialising in clinical negligence, inquests and inquiries); partner Browne Jacobson 2007. Publications include ‘Litigation: A Risk Management Guide for Midwives’ (second edition, in conjunction with the Royal College of Midwives).
