Position

Magnus handles all aspects of family law with a particular emphasis on divorce and separation, and financial claims arising upon the breakdown of marriages and other relationships (frequently including substantial assets, offshore asset-holding structures and/or an international element). He also regularly advises in relation to private law children issues. He is often asked to prepare pre-(and post-) nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements. Magnus was previously a partner in the family department of a well-known family law firm, which was ranked in the highest tier for family law of both Chambers and the The Legal 500, and where he had been for 12 years. He is enthusiastic about resolving issues away from the court wherever possible, and is an experienced collaborative lawyer. He has substantial experience ranging from the County Court up to the Court of Appeal, and has been recommended and described as ‘excellent’ in The Legal 500.
