Position
Partner, specialist in employment law. Dan advises companies and senior executives on the full range of employment law issues. His clients include financial services, pharmaceutical, media, tech and fashion companies. He regularly advises on enforcing post-termination restrictions, preventing employees from using confidential information, strategic employment law issues and reorganisations.
Recently work includes successfully defended a household-name Plc and an international insurance broker in whistleblowing claims brought by overseas employees, and have enforced restrictive covenants in the High Court against former employees.
Dan takes a lead role in Doyle Clayton’s founding membership of ELLINT, the network of specialist European employment law firms. Many of his clients are international and he will regularly work on cross-border matters.

Trained at Olswang, qualifying into the Employment Department in 2003. Moved to Parker & Co in 2005. Moved to Doyle Clayton in 2011, promoted to Partner in 2015.
Before the LPC Dan spent a year working at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
