Piers is a Partner with our Thames Valley team. He advises on employment issues including senior executive terminations, restrictive covenant disputes and business re-organisations.  Piers is regarded as an expert in data protection issues insofar as they impact on HR/employment issues and frequently advises on data subject access requests for a wide range of corporate clients. He also heads up the Privacy team and advises clients on the implications of the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation.

In 1995 he started his training contract with Brecher & Co, which was taken over by Nicholson Graham & Jones, where he qualified in 1997. Upon qualification, he joined Osborne Clarke, firstly in London, then in Reading. He was then promoted to Associate, then Senior Associate. Piers then joined Doyle Clayton in Reading as an Associate, being promoted to partner in 2009.

Member of Employment Lawyers Association, European Lawyers Association and ELLINT (Employment and Labor Lawyers International), a network of specialist employment law firms.
