LL.B. from Universidade de Brasília Law School, he was admitted to practice in Brasília, Brazil, in 1996. He has specialization in Public Law and Constitutional at the same institution. He is specialized in International Negotiation at OEA - Organization of American States and Master’s degree in International and Comparative Law at Cornell University, EUA (LL.M.).
