Moraes is partner of Azevedo Sette Advogados’s in Civil Litigation and Arbitration practice in Belo Horizonte office. He draws upon more than 10 years of experience in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, having participated in arbitration procedures and business mediations involving infrastructure, construction, energy, PPP's and concessions contracts, and business or corporate disputes.

Before joining Azevedo Sette, Moraes was partner in leading law firm.

LL.B. from Centro Universitário Newton Paiva (2008). Master’s Degree in Private Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Minas Gerais and PhD student in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). Participated in the US Business Law Academy at Columbia Law School (NY), Mediation Advocacy Training at ICFML, International Business Mediation Workshop at CPR - Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution, Dispute Boards Workshop - DRBF (Dispute Resolution Board Foundation) and PIDA Advanced Training on International Arbitration - ICC International Court of Arbitration.
