Lucas is a partner at Azevedo Sette Advogados, in São Paulo, where he practices compliance and anticorruption, international trade/WTO, antitrust and competition law. He has more than 10 years’ of experience advising clients in complex domestic and international projects involving international trade, economic law and antitrust, compliance and anti-corruption matters.

Before joining Azevedo Sette, Lucas acted as a senior associate of the was a senior associate of International Trade and Customs, Competition and Antitrust, and Compliance practices in leading law firms in Brazil.

He is a member of the Special Compliance Committee, São Paulo branch of the Brazilian Bar Association. He was the former coordinator of the International Trade Committee, IBRAC (2017-2019). Lucas is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - International (CCEP-I) by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).

Lucas’ academic background includes a Masters in Business Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EESP-FGV) and an LLB from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).
