Souza is partner and head of Azevedo Sette Advogados’ Infrastructure and Real Estate practices in São Paulo office. He draws upon more than 20 years’ experience advising clients in Corporate / M&A, Administrative Law, Real Estate, Infrastructure, PPP and Project Finance matters.

Before joining Azevedo Sette, he was an associate in Corporate (1996–2003) in a boutique law firm, and legal assistant at Accenture / Andersen Consulting (1995-1996).

English and Portuguese

Souza was professor of mergers and acquisitions at FACAMP. Partner is a member of the Legal Committee of the ABDIB (Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries), president and a member of the board of directors in agribusiness associations, a former member of the ABCON (Brazilian Association of Basic Sanitation Private Concessionaries).

LL.B. from PUC/SP Law School, he was admitted to practice in São Paulo and Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1998. Master in Business Law (LL.M., 2004) in the same university.
