Dieterich is partner and head of Azevedo Sette Advogados’ Infrastructure practice in Belo Horizonte. He draws upon more than 25 years’ experience advising clients in complex transactions involving regulatory and administrative law, infrastructure projects and PPPs, project finance, banking and capital markets.

Before joining Azevedo Sette, he worked as in-house counsel (1993-2001) at Andrade Gutierrez Group (a largest construction company in Brazil).

Well known in academic circles, he is professor at Fundação Dom Cabral (courses aiming at the development of shareholders and leaders with focus on legal matters related to business growth, project finance, concessions and public-private partnerships, and M&A). He is legal consultant at Interamerican Development Bank, and Member of the Projeto Infra2038.

LL.B. from UFMG Law School, he was admitted to practice in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 1993. He is specialized in Corporate Finance, and PhD in Administrative Law at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (PhD, 2007). Frederico is certified as CP3P-F (since 2017).
