For seven years, Jaques Wurman was a member of a law firm specializing in business law, as an associate lawyer and then as partner, coordinating company acquisition and due diligence projects, in addition to providing legal advice to Brazilian and foreign companies various sectors, especially in the contracts and corporate fields. He has also participated in privatization projects for national companies, bidding processes, and structuring of the largest hotel complex in the country. He was a Federal Attorney for the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), representing the Commission in the courts, in administrative proceedings and inquiry commissions, and in legal reviews of transactions involving the corporate actions of publicly-held companies and market participants. Was a member of the Legal Department at Banco Pactual S/A, focusing on corporate finance transactions.
