Carlos Augusto Branco has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of corporate and tax law. His previous experience included being a member of the tax and corporate teams of another Brazilian business law firm, where he participated in acquisition and corporate reorganization proceedings, preparation of opinions, and tax planning. He also worked at Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN), focusing on tax issues, and was a in-house counsel at Banco Pactual S.A., handling matters relating to tax, corporate and banking law, as well as contracts. In the beginning of his career, he worked in the tax department at Price Waterhouse.
