João Laudo has been practicing Corporate Law for over 35 years, with solid experience with structured transactions (projet finance) and other transactions related to capital markets. His previous experience includes being municipal attorney of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro, Commissioner of the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), General Counsel at BNDES Participações S/A (BNDESPAR), member of the board of the Brazilian Institute of Coporate Governance (IBGC) and attorney of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Gives lectures on Corporate Governance and is the author of several articles published in specialized journals and magazines. Professor of training courses offered by IBGC. Active in the Instituto dos Advogados Brasileiros (Institute of Brazilian Lawyers). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a Masterin Comparative Law from George Washington University.
