Practice Group Co-Chair – IP Litigation (Firmwide)

Career

Mr. Kubehl is the firmwide co-chair of Baker Botts’ IP litigation patent group. He is a first chair trial and appellate lawyer specializing in patent and trade secret cases involving, for example telecommunications, software, electronics, optics, and semiconductors. Mr. Kubehl has particular expertise dealing with standard-essential patents and representing parties (both patent holder and defendants) in competitor cases as well as defending against ultra-complex patent aggregator cases. Outside of the courtroom Mr. Kubehl has significant licensing and technology due diligence experience.
