Career

Chauntelle is an experienced first-chair trial lawyer representing companies in a broad range of civil and white-collar criminal matters. She has tried over 40 jury and bench trials.

Chauntelle's experience includes defending companies in mass tort suits, legacy litigation, environmental and operational matters, and oil & gas royalty and pipeline disputes. She has also litigated general commercial and white-collar matters, including construction failure matters, internal investigations for fraud or breach of fiduciary duties, internal environmental investigations, insurance and indemnity disputes and labor and employment matters.

Prior to private practice, Chauntelle served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s office, where she was the first-chair attorney in 28 jury trials and served as a Senior Felony Prosecutor and a Misdemeanor Court Chief.

Chauntelle has previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Southern Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she taught Trial Simulation to second-year law students.

Chauntelle is a Veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves where she served for 8 years.
