Career

Chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition practice, John Taladay is well-recognized as a leading global antitrust practitioner, with extensive experience in gaining complex merger approvals, defending dozens of criminal cartel investigations and managing complex international competition matters before the FTC, DOJ, European Commission and other international agencies. He also acts as lead counsel in numerous complex civil class action and other litigation matters involving nearly all aspects of antitrust laws. John is recognized for his international competition policy leadership and his expertise in the technology, media, telecommunications, software and pharmaceuticals sectors, and traditional industries including automotive, mining, metals, agriculture, chemicals and electronics.
