Career

Megan Berge partners with companies to develop creative strategies for difficult Clean Air Act and climate change issues, including sustainability planning and climate-based litigation. She has an active practice representing electric generating companies, natural gas distribution companies, trade associations, and other industries. Most recently, Megan argued before the Washington State Supreme Court and won a landmark climate case, successfully permitted a multi-million-dollar turbine upgrade project, settled alleged NSR violations for a cement company, and filed an amicus brief in Kisor v. Wilkie, ___ U.S. ___ , 139 S. Ct. 2400, 204 L.Ed.2d 841 (2019). Megan also helms industry coalitions, which provide practical thought leadership on key environmental developments to aid companies in business planning.
