Senior Associate

Tyler Beas' practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and client counseling in connection with trademark and copyright law, trade dress, domain name disputes, social media, and advertising practices. His practice also comprises copyright and trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and licensing. Tyler has represented clients in Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy ("UDRP") proceedings, in matters before the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus ("NAD"), in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in Federal court. Mr. Beas' clients run the gamut of industries from high-tech, healthcare, telecommunications, real estate and oil and gas to DIY and home crafting products, institutions of higher education, and even on to food snack and beverage, consumer products, distilled spirits, and cannabidiols.

Tyler is the current chair of the Dallas office's internal Associates Committee, a role he has served since 2019 (general committee member since 2017), and is an Associate Liaison to the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
