Shane Wilson is a partner you can trust to provide you with strategic legal advice whilst ensuring your commercial objectives are achieved in the most efficient and effective manner. Based in Gowling WLG's Dubai office, he has over a decade of experience advising clients on major project finance and finance transactions in the Middle East and Africa.

A leading structured finance partner, who has previously worked for Norton Rose and Vinson & Elkins in the UAE, Shane specialises in advising sponsors, lenders and governments on large-scale projects accross the region, including in respect of projects in the utilities, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors. He also advises lenders and borrowers on corporate and other finance transactions.

Shane has a wide range of experience advising on all finance and security related documentation, including drafting/negotiating such documentation in respect of projects and finance transactions that utilise conventional financing, Islamic financing, export credit, government funding, mezzanine/subordinated funding and other forms of credit.

Shane also assists clients in respect of their offtake arrangements, concession agreements, fuel supply agreements and other project documentation.
