Position

Weronika Achramowicz is a managing partner of the Firm’s Warsaw office. She also co-heads the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and the International Commercial & Trade team at the same office. Weronika is also the country lead for the Consumer Goods & Retail Industry Group and the Foreign Investment Restrictions Task Force, two of Baker McKenzie’s key global initiatives.

Weronika’s practice principally involves advising Polish and foreign clients on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and general corporate and commercial strategy or compliance matters, with a focus on businesses operating in complex global environments. She leads clients through all stages of their investments and international transactions in a wide range of product and service sectors.

Weronika also actively supports Polish businesses expanding abroad, focusing on greenfield investments and acquisitions in the consumer and industrial sectors.

Baker McKenzie Krzyzowski i Wspólnicy Sp.k.‘s M&A team has an impressive client roster consisting of large, multinational corporations and domestic businesses from the gaming, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, real estate, insurance and retail sectors. The group frequently advises on significant cross-border transactions, which encompasses assistance from the beginning to the end of a mandate, including support with the initial deal structures to the finalisation of a transaction. The department is co-led by managing partner Weronika Achramowicz, who also heads up the firm’s Polish consumer good and retail sector group, Tomasz Krzyżowski, who frequently advises on disposals and take-overs through acquisitions, and Filip Uziębło, who is especially skilled in private equity transactions and restructuring matters. The team is also home to Łukasz Targoszyński, who boasts expertise in joint venture transactions.
