Paolo Ghiglione is a partner in the Corporate M&A practice group of Baker McKenzie's Italian offices and leads the private equity and the energy & infrastructure teams.

Paolo Ghiglione has more than 20 years' experience in M&A deals, including disposals and acquisitions of assets and shares, mergers, de-mergers and joint ventures in a number of industries, including transport, energy, financial institutions, telecommunications, infrastructure and consumer goods.

He has acted for both buyers and sellers in some of the top-end privatisation transactions in the Italian market and has been involved in a number of major restructurings and reorganisations.

He also advises on corporate governance and regulatory matters for listed and non-listed companies including Italian private equity funds and financial intermediaries.
