Angelo Tzarevski is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in Johannesburg.

Angelo provides strategic advice to multinational corporations on complex cross-border merger control cases, complaint proceedings involving prohibited practices and abuse of dominance, compliance, and corporate leniency. He has been involved in some of the most high-profile and complex matters, including for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, Archer-Daniels- Midland, Chr. Hansen, Daimler Group, Haleon, Sika AG, Suez Group, Unilever, Hitachi and Bausch Health Companies, among others.

Angelo represents clients before antitrust & competition regulators in across sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa, Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, as well as the Common Market of Southern and Eastern Africa (COMESA) and the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC).

Angelo's experience covers a diverse range of industries including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, banking and financial services, private equity, oil and gas, Big Tech, luxury consumer goods, aviation, shipping, and automotive.
