Thanh Vinh Nguyen is a partner in the Ho Chi Minh City office. Before joining the Firm, he practiced tax and consultancy work for two international accounting firms and worked as a compliance counsel for an international insurance company.

Vinh's areas of practice focus on advice, planning and contentious matters on tax, customs, and trade matters. He also advises clients on tax issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund transactions, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, tax controversies, and cross-border tax planning issues for multinational firms operating in various industries including retail & consumer business, manufacturing, financial institutions, property, etc.

Vinh is an award-winning practitioner, recently recognized by the ITR World Tax as Highly Regarded Practitioner in the categories of Indirect and Tax Controversy (2022) as well as a Leading Lawyer for Taxation in Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2022).
