Baker McKenzie S.A.S. stands ‘at the forefront of new technology’, according to sources who praise its innovative approach to IP matters. Best known for its trade mark offering, where it routinely advises major multinationals on portfolio management and enforcement, the practice also encompasses copyrights, patents, IP litigation, and corporate support matters. Juan Pablo Concha Delgado demonstrates ‘high-level leadership and relationship skills’; he steers the department, and is also a member of the firm’s global IPtech steering committee. In July 2023, the group was bolstered at top level with the promotions of senior associates Yuliana Salamanca (trade marks, copyrights and litigation) and Bibiana Cala (criminal litigation) to partner. Of counsel Ricardo Metke is noted for IP disputes.
