Laura Rietvelt joined Baker McKenzie Amsterdam in 2004 as a candidate civil-law notary and became a partner in the corporate group in 2022.
Laura has an extensive experience in our cross-border corporate practice and was seconded at our London office and the legal department of IBM. Laura regularly publishes in legal journals and (inter)national media on corporate law and the management of complex, multi-jurisdictional reorganization projects.
Laura’s practice focuses on the design, implementation and management of global restructurings. This includes post-acquisition integrations, spin-offs, carve outs and supply chain restructurings. Laura has a keen sense of client interests and needs, and has led various international restructurings for many of our clients.
