Career
David H. Medlar represents financial institutions, retailers, and corporations in a range of consumer financial services matters, particularly the development and implementation of co-branded, private label, and commercial credit card programs and the negotiation of agreements relating to payment systems, merchant acquiring, and gateway payment services.
Before joining Ballard Spahr, David was a member of the banking and financial services groups at two international law firms. His experience also includes advising borrowers and lenders in domestic and cross-border acquisition financings, leveraged and investment-grade finance transactions, and general corporate lending.
