Adam Russell-Knee

Adam is a Senior Associate with 10 years’ PQE. He is a member of the Stuarts Litigation and Insolvency Group which specialises in commercial litigation, corporate and funds disputes, insolvency, asset tracing and recovery, shareholder disputes and claims against directors for breaches of duty.

Andrew Hersant is Of Counsel at Stuarts Humphries. Andrew's practice areas include investment funds, corporate finance, lending and restructuring. Andrew is one of the leading legal counsels in the Cayman Islands for advising hedge funds, private equity funds, other investment funds and large institutions on corporate finance matters. His clients include large institutions, fund managers, investment funds and investment banks. He is also regularly engaged by other participants and professional advisers, in particular onshore counsel on a variety of transactions involving investment funds and corporate finance. His practice is equally divided between the US and Europe. Andrew is a director for Stuarts Corporate Services Ltd and Southern Management Services Ltd. Andrew has recently advised on several complex hedge fund restructurings. He has also advised on the formation and launch of a number of hedge funds and private equity funds and on corporate re-organisations and debt restructurings, as well as on a number of leading investment banks on finance and security issues in the Cayman Islands.

Buck is Head of Local Legal Services, with over fifteen years specialist experience advising on Cayman Islands Law. His practice areas include: ordinary, exempted and special economic zone company formation and foreign company registration under the companies law, matters relating to the registered land law, including the sale, purchase, leasing and development of real estate; bank and private party financing particularly in the context of real estate development; stamp duty law and land holding companies share transfer tax law matters; trade and business licensing law and local companies (control) law issues; work permits and work visas, residency, the right to be Caymanian and other immigration law applications and appeals; development and planning law matters; labour law, national pensions law and health Insurance law requirements, workmen’s compensation law matters, and wills and probate applications.

Chris is the Managing Director and Head of Funds at Stuarts Humphries; specialising in investment funds, corporate and commercial, insurance, banking, fintech, regulatory and compliance.
