Alexandre de Mendonça Wald is a partner at Wald, Antunes, Vita e Blattner Advogados. Admitted to the Brazilian Bar (OAB) in 1984, Alexandre has almost 30 years of practice as a lawyer, being highly regarded by his clients. He has also authored books and many articles in the fields of banking, finance, corporate law and capital markets, amongst which “O Direito de Parceria e a nova Lei de Concessões”, published in 1996 by Editora Revista dos Tribunais.

Alexandre Wald acts in complex disputes and transactions in various areas of practice, such as Corporate, M&A, Capital Markets, Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Concessions, Administrative and Regulatory Law. 

He has been frequently recognized by leading practice rankings and publications. Chambers Global and Chambers Latin America 2014 stated that Alexandre de Mendonça Wald “is championed by clients as being ‘extremely responsive and understanding the urgency of his client's needs’. Moreover, according to Legal500 2013-2014, “Alexandre de Mendonça Wald is ‘tenacious and technically astute’". Mr. Alexandre Wald has led Wald in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013 Latin Lawyer’s Deal of the Year awards.
