Career

Mariana Jost is a young partner of the firm who focus her practice in transactions involving publicly-held companies with listed securities in Brazil and internationally. Her extensive experience development in the M&A practice, her deep knowledge of securities regulation and orientations of the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários – CVM (the Brazilian SEC) and her up-to-date take on the most recent decisions of the CVM issued on a case-specific basis and claims made by minority shareholders is highly praised by clients (financial advisors, intermediary institutions in tender offers, hostile bidders, management of listed companies and large corporations) and have been proved key in the structuring transactions in innovative ways and within short timeframe, with constant interaction with the CVM and the stock exchange. Mariana also works along other partners of the firm in leading the teams involved in strategic administrative proceedings initiated by the CVM against regulated companies and their management for alleged violations to applicable securities regulations.
