Laura is the global co-leader of the firm’s Hotels & Hospitality sector. She focuses on hotel acquisitions and disposals, development, financing and leasing. She also advises clients on hotel branding and management agreements, acting for both hotel developers/owners and international operators. She acts for a number of lenders (senior and mezzanine) and has advised on both investment and development finance for hotel and other asset classes.
Laura is ranked as a “Leading Individual” in Legal 500 and is also ranked in Chambers and Partners for hospitality & leisure matters.
Laura was part of the BCLP team advising Grange Hotels on the sale of four of its high-end hotels for circa £1 billion. This was one of the largest UK hotel deals on record.
