Tyler Goodwyn is an intellectual property lawyer who focuses on patent litigation at district and appellate courts, at the Patent Trials and Appeals Board (PTAB) and at the International Trade Commission (ITC). He is regularly counseling foreign and domestic clients on portfolio management considerations, driving favorable and strategic decisions from pre-litigation to licensing, during all phases of litigation, and through trial. Tyler has decades of litigation and trial experience that includes depositions, witness examinations, and the keen ability to enable engineers and experts to distill complex concepts into persuasive and favorable outcomes.

Tyler holds significant experience guiding Fortune 500 companies and start-ups across a wide array of hardware and software technologies impacting consumer electronics, digital media, automotive and life science sectors. His wide experience also includes looking into matters behind communication and broadband wireless systems such as Wi-Fi, MIMO and Bluetooth, SEP and FRAND standards, semiconductors, IoT and smart devices, authentication protocols, displays, circuitry, image data and display systems, memory and optical drives, electromagnetic interfaces, financial technology, propulsion, polymers and medical devices.
