Lucinda Althauser concentrates her practice in the areas of intellectual property and technology transactions, and has a wide range of experience in providing advice and counsel to clients in connection with protecting, developing, acquiring, transferring, and exploiting intellectual property and technology assets. Her transactional experience includes representing national and international companies regarding the intellectual property and technology aspects of substantial merger and acquisition transactions involving a wide variety of technologies, including pharmaceutical, biotech, agribusiness and agricultural biotechnology, manufacturing and industrial processes, facilities and equipment, healthcare, software and other information technology assets.

Lucinda routinely handles matters for clients relating to the development, licensing and commercialization of pharmaceutical products and other healthcare-related technologies, agricultural products, manufacturing processes, food products, software, and other technologies. Her practice also includes drafting and negotiating sponsored research agreements, pharmaceutical supply and manufacturing agreements, collaboration agreements, joint development agreements, hosting agreements, and reseller agreements.

Lucinda is a registered patent attorney with an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, and she has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of computer-implemented methodologies, medical devices, biotechnology, and mechanical devices.  She frequently analyzes and reviews intellectual property assets and rights on behalf of clients in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and in support of litigation matters.
