Career

Slade focuses his practice on commercial, antitrust, and appellate litigation. He previously worked as Assistant Attorney General in the Solicitor General’s Unit of the Georgia Department of Law. There, he assisted in matters before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Slade has a background in law and economics. His doctoral dissertation in economics centered upon antitrust and regulatory debates in the banking and financial services sector, assessing the effects of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 on competition in the commercial banking industry. A former editor of the Journal of Law, Economics and Policy, he has secured numerous publications and holds academic research and writing to be a lifelong passion.

Prior to joining the firm in 2023, he clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
