Associate - Corporate and Finance Transactions

Scott Schwend is an associate in BCLP’s M&A and Corporate Finance group. Mr. Schwend first joined the firm as a Summer Associate in the firm’s Kansas City office in 2019. Mr. Schwend previously interned at the Office of the Missouri Attorney General in 2018.

Mr. Schwend received his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2020.  Mr. Schwend received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance, magna cum laude, from Truman State University in 2017. While in law school, Mr. Schwend served as the Business Editor for the UMKC Law Review and was a member of UMKC’s ABA Negotiation Competition and Jessup International Moot Court Competition teams.
