Career

Emma Masse is an associate in the Real Estate Department of the firm’s St. Louis office. Emma’s background is in transactional real estate work with a particular emphasis and focus on shopping center and retail leasing. She concentrates her practice on commercial real estate matters, representing clients in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development and leasing across a variety of asset classes including office, retail, hospitality and mixed use.

Emma earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where she served as the Senior Note and Comment Editor of the Missouri Law Review and graduated with honors as a member and inductee of the Order of the Barristers. While in law school, Emma was a student attorney with the school’s Veterans Clinic where she assisted veterans with discharge upgrades and Department of Veterans Affairs disability compensation claims. She was also an avid regional and national-level competitor with the Board of Advocates where she competed in numerous Client Counseling, Moot Court, and Mock Trial competitions, ultimately earning the 2017 and 2018 ABA Regional Client Counseling Champion titles. Prior to attending law school, Emma earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
