Shane is an experienced litigator and advocate. With over 20 years of experience, Shane has a well-earned reputation for being trustworthy, prepared, and creative. A significant portion of his practice involves representing businesses, municipalities, and other governmental entities navigate complex legal matters. Shane also represents employers in all manner of employment-related matters, including claims of employment discrimination, wage and hour compliance, and employment-related torts and contract actions.

Shane recognizes that not every case will go to trial, and prioritizes his clients’ business needs and specific objectives, focusing on identifying and pursuing the most efficient and beneficial outcomes, whether by pursuing litigation, arbitration, or mediation.

Shane is a Fellow in the American Bar Foundation and is regularly recognized as a top practitioner in the Washington legal community. He currently serves on the board of Sound Health, one of the largest mental health providers in the Puget Sound region, as well as on the Board of Commissioners for Seattle Youth Soccer Association. When not working, Shane can be found coaching youth sports, backpacking, or watching UW sports.
