A member of Mattos Filho’s Corporate/M&A practice since 2010, Joana specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and a wide array of corporate matters, including corporate reorganizations and foreign investments in Brazil. She is experienced in working with a range of industries, particularly agribusiness, energy, and infrastructure.

Joana’s career includes previous stints working at the firm’s New York office and as an international associate at Linklaters.
